Life is a gift: Cameryn was 2lbs, 6oz when born. He is now 5 years old
When I started challenging Christian doctrines that did not work (Add Up) I found a world outside of the Sunday churches to glean from. Most of the new resources were academic and scholarly. I found polished presentations that were easy to digest which helped me better understand the right questions to ask. I soon found that the right questions inevitably upset many pastors (?)
The following two videos presented by 119 Ministries many years ago helped me to start digging on my own. Eventually, I learned enough to be able to agree and to disagree based on hours of study and research. Most notably, I began to give the scriptures back to the writers and not the interpreters, if you will…Jesus was Jewish. I begun to meet Jewish people who absolutely, unequivocally held firm to Jesus! However, I soon learned these folks did not accept the Christian Jesus. I wanted to know why. It has been fourteen years later…and I know why!
I no longer relate the biblical story to a religious story. Hence I no longer follow denominational divisions. Instead, I see the Biblical story as an offering to help one become a citizen of an eternal kingdom and government. I am not looking for a day to be air lifted out of the earth but rather, I understand better my obligation to covenant law as a responsible citizen of why all of this happened in the first place. I am not perfect and live with the understanding that life is a gift.
Professor Skip Moen once told to me: “The further we get from GOD, the less human we become” We are living his words today! Simply put, It is our turn to experience chaos perpetuated by Godlessness. Nevertheless, by blood covenant we obligated, as citizens to represent order!
Mankind has moved away from GOD once again!
Psalm 19:7 Yahweh’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. Yahweh’s testimony is sure, making wise the simple.
